Lenette Ea Lyngfeldt Vacher is a Danish artist and writer based in Copenhagen. She has a masters degree from the University of Copenhagen.

After her heart transplant in 2020, she began painting and soon it became a passion. Since then she has painted continuously and has had exhibitions different places in Denmark, been to Art fairs and participated in censored exhibitions.

The paintings are made in acrylic on canvas, and the preferred motif is humanlike figures. She works to create humans with a gaze of autensity, and to picture life in a specific moment. The humanlike forms and bodies are a major interest of hers, which she tries to capture in her paintings.

Technique

“In my technique I work with lines, borders and distances that make tiny spaces in the painting, as a visual break and space to explore for the viewer. I always paint the canvas in a dark color, and then paint the painting, so the color underneath appears as lines and spaces.”
